CLARE COOPER FCCA
Partner
Qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with the ACCA in 1991.
Clare Cooper has been with Cooper & Co throughout her accounting career and has been a partner in the firm since 1994.
Clare has 38 years of experience in supporting small and medium businesses. She provides tailored advice to help her clients grow their businesses while staying compliant with tax laws and accounting requirements.
Clare is a specialist in taxation, both personal and corporate. She carries out tax planning for her clients and provides specialist tax advice on subjects including capital gains, estates, and trusts.
Clare has a strong track record of advocating for clients with HMRC, guiding clients through tax and PAYE investigations to successful outcomes.
Clare is also a qualified Auditor.
ROBERT BAXTER FCCA
Partner
Qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with the ACCA in 1991.
Robert Baxter started his accounting career in general practice in Leicestershire in 1984, before qualifying in 1991 and subsequently joining Cooper & Co. He was made a partner in the firm in 1994.
Robert has 39 years of experience in general practice, working with all manner of businesses and tax payers, and helping them grow and thrive. He has a large portfolio of clients, including many varied limited company, Clubs and Charities.
He has successfully handled many HMRC tax investigations for clients, including those covering Landlord Letting Campaign, Income Tax, Corporation Tax and VAT.
Robert is also a qualified Auditor, and annually carries out large company and charity audits.
PAUL EVE
Senior Accountant
Paul Eve has many years of experience working in general practice, and joined Cooper & Co in 1999.
He has extensive experience of looking after a large portfolio of small business clients and personal taxation clients, and uses that experience to give clients the peace of mind that their accounting and taxation matters are in good hands.
JODIE HOOPER
Senior Accountant
Jodie Hooper joined Cooper & Co in 2014.
In the 10 years that Jodie has been with us, her diligence, hard work, knowledge and focus have been a huge benefit to both our firm and our clients.
Jodie has built up great experience in dealing with many varied client types, dealing with annual accounts preparation, VAT and payroll, but has particular expertise in dealing with limited company clients.
MEGAN LETLEY

Megan Leltey joined Cooper & Co in 2023.
Megan has many years of experience working in accountancy, both in practice and in industry.
Her eye for detail, and strong work ethic, make her a very valued member of our team. She has gained a great deal of experience in bookkeeping, VAT Returns and payroll.
